AMA Marketing was founded by the market-regulating agency Agrarmarkt Austria (AMA) in 1995 as company with limited liability. The company purpose is the promotion of agricultural marketing pursuant to Section 21a (1) AMA Law 1992. These duties are carried out by AMA Marketing under private law. For this purpose, as AMA Marketing, we specify guidelines for the award and use of quality marks for the classification of high-quality agricultural products and products derived therefrom.

Participants in quality assurance measures and/or systems of origin and registration: In principle, we process the data, which you have provided to us in your applications and/or notifications, and which we require for your participation in the quality assurance measures and/or systems of origin and registration. Employees: We process the data we require for personnel management.

Should there be an opportunity for visitors to enter personal data (e.g. name, email address), this is done on a voluntary basis. Like many other website operators, AMA Marketing is also using so-called cookies. We use the Google service reCaptcha to determine if a human or a computer is making a specific entry in our contact or newsletter form. Google checks by means of the following data whether you are a human or a computer: IP address of the terminal device used, the website you are visiting and in which Captcha is integrated, the date and the duration of the visit, the identification data of the browser and operation system type used, Google account when you are logged into Google, mouse movements on the reCaptcha interfaces as well as tasks where you have to identify images. We have a legitimate interest in the processing of this data, to ensure the security of our website, and to protect ourselves against automated entries (attacks).

How long is personal data stored?

AMA Marketing fundamentally endeavours to process your personal data only as long as this is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes. AMA Marketing does, however, often have a legal obligation to retain your personal data for a longer period of time. In this case, we delete your personal data only after the expiry of the legal retention periods.
