How to participate in the pastus+ quality assurance system

Feed companies with a recognised certification can participate in the pastus+ system either as system participant or as licensee. Further information can be found in the Guidelines for the participation in the pastus+ system.

Registration in the pastus+ system

As a first step for the participation in the pastus+ system, please fill in the pastus+ system contract as well as the company information sheet and return the singed documents (company stamp & signature) by post to:

Please note that a separate company information sheet is required for every business premises which is relevant for pastus+. To expedite processing please enclose a current excerpt from the commercial register for your company!

Verification of valid certification

AMA-Marketing checks the validity of your certification in the databases of the recognised schemes. AMA-Marketing recognises audits from the following feed schemes: QS, GMP+, OVOCOM and EFISC-GTP.

Once valid certification has been verified, the registration for the pastus+ system will be processed.

Additional information for QS-companies: in order to be recognised in the pastus+ system, QS-companies must check the “AMA” box in the QS-database under “Recognitions”. This automatically informs AMA-Marketing about your certification runtime.

Integration in the pastus+ database

After the pastus+ system contract has been countersigned by the managing director of AMA-Marketing, a copy will be sent to you by post. Then your company will be integrated into the database of pastus+ companies authorised to deliver at www.pastus.at.

Annual system fees

To participate in the pastus+ system, you must pay annual system fees according to the fee model. The first annual fee is invoiced on a pro rata basis. You will receive the invoice together with your copy of the countersigned system contract.

If you would like to receive the annual invoice per email, please email the email address of your electronic invoice recipient and your pastus-ID to us at futtermittel@amainfo.at.

Additional Module AMA-Quality Seal

The requirements of the Additional Module AMA-Quality Seal can be checked by the respective certification body during the annual audit or during a remote-audit conducted by AMA-Marketing.

In both cases, the audit must be performed using this checklist.

The initial control of the Additional Module can be performed by your certification body during your next regular audit.

If no checklist is transmitted by the end of the year, AMA-Marketing will send you a request for the necessary documents and conduct a remote-audit.

Labelling of feed

From this point on, you are entitled to label your feed with "pastus+" or with "pastus+ AMA-Gütesiegel tauglich" and to deliver to AMA-Quality Seal farmers as well as to pastus+ companies.

You will receive the labels upon request from your pastus+ contact person: futtermittel(at)amainfo.at
